Children’s Drum “Young Thunder”
Thunder Mountain has launched a program to introduce Native American drumming to children and young adults ages 8 and over. Children will be invited to drum with the Nation on the third Sunday of each month from 11am-1pm. Each program will be held at the Medicine Wheel located in Delmont (Route 66, Dairy Queen Plaza) at no charge.
This program is designed to share Native American Culture through drumming and music with children. Those who get involved will be taught drumming culture and native traditions, and will be asked to drum during our Annual Festival in Saltsburg, PA (August 20-21. 2011).
