Connecting the World – Stone by Stone
Much has been talked about, written about and discussed about the solstice on December 21, 2012. The solstice, for many cultures is an important time of celebration. For many this particular solstice is being looked to as something of extra significance.
Over a year ago, Thunder Mountain Lenapé Nation began working with the medicine wheel. As if the gift of the medicine wheel garden wasn’t great enough, a vision came to us to facilitate the creation of a world wide wheel. A concept that would allow us to reach out to people all around the world.
The concept is to use stones to create a wheel that spans every country, every culture and every religion. The medicine wheel is a way to create a sacred space and a place of healing. By holding stones around the world, the wheel would, in essence, span the earth, and become a way to remind all that the earth itself is a sacred space.
We are inviting everyone who would like to be part of this to JOIN US. Be sure to visit www.worldwideworld.org!
