Attention all Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts!
Thunder Mountain Lenapé Nation is currently looking for Boy Scout and Girl Scout volunteers to help out at our Annual Festival!
Requirements and Volunteer Description:
- Be a registered Boy Scout or Girl Scout.
- Be available for one day before our August Festival to help volunteer with grounds work.
- Be available Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday of the Festival (August 19,20,21) to volunteer with trash pickup, water stocking, Children’s Program, booth help, etc.
Benefits:
- Receive free admittance to the festival all days you volunteer.
- Free dinner with Native Dancers all nights you attend.
- Native Program Friday night.
- Opportunity to earn Indian Lore badges.
- Free Camping for the weekend at Festival grounds (fire pit, water, and showers).
- Service hours for all time spent helping at the Festival (possible 20 hours+).
- Certificate of appreciation from Thunder Mountain Lenapé Nation.
